I have been working as project control specialist and planner for the “Metro Line 1 – Extension” (2.2km). The scope was to design and build a 2.2km Metro Line, a Metro Line Station, a Polyclinic, a Bus Terminal.. As a control specilist i have beeen involved into the estimation as well as planning, monitoring and control of the activities mainly using tools like Primavera P6, Ms Project and Aconex Oracle. The main tasks were to create the project baseline and sub-baselines, to update the progress, reschedule, analising longest ruth path and make reports to facilitate the decision making process. I was responsable to genetared daily reports to control the critical activities and also to create monthly reports for the main customer (Metro de Panamá, S.A) among other tasks. i wa responsable to claim and requests prices changes for Structural Steel, Reinforded Bar Steel, Concrete and Man Power depdending of markets trends for this resources.

Definitely a multi-disciplinary experience, I learnt to assume the responsibility for the company of the construction business in Panamá. My work was to develope new processes to be implemented in the projects. Overall, I learned to coordinate and administrate projects and also managed contracts for engineers and land surveyors in order to define, control and delivery the related tasks. My responsibility was to analyze, manage and control risks for the projects as well as generated weekly reports for executives.

Activities I have been in charge of: Product Work Flow, Quality control: APQP, Risks analysis: PFMEA, Management of the application of ISO 9001 and ISO/TS 16949, comunications with customers and suppliers, management of mold design and prototype up unti the first production batch. I was the responsable of the Approval of the Production Processes:PPAP.

Activities: Research of the influence of differents kinds of micro-coatings in the production efficiency with high-pressure die casting molds. We used a recent technology called Physical Vapor Deposition to improve the thermoplastic resistance of the molds for high-pressure die-casting with aluminum alloys. In charge of the monitoring and control of the aluminum analysis in the production lines, including reception, approval and storing of raw materials.
